A+ Quality AC Repair in Princeton for Over 40 Years!

History of Princeton

Princeton’s history began in 1881 when the Missouri, Kansas and Texas railway decided to extend its line to McKinney. The town was formalized and named in 1888 when residents applied to have a post office branch built. In the earliest decades, Princeton’s economy was based heavily on onion farming and cotton production. Over the years, cantaloupe became a more popular agricultural crop and eventually replaced onion farming. However, the town still holds the popular Princeton Onion Festival each year.
