In January, 2008, Bill Joplin’s Air Conditioning & Heating was awarded “BUSINESS OF THE YEAR” for a company with over 25 employees. At the time of this award, McKinney had just surpassed a population of 100,000 residents, was rated as one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, and thus, made this award even more prestigious.
